A Low Frequency Noise Source Localization and Identification Method Based on a Virtual Open Spherical Vector Microphone Array

Aiming at the problem of poor spatial resolution low-frequency noise sources in a small-aperture spherical microphone array (SMA), this paper proposes method for localizing and identifying based on virtual-vector open SMA (‘p+v’ joint processing pressure velocity). Firstly, virtual with larger aperture is obtained using extrapolation method. In method, actual are regarded as dual-radius SMA, velocity information finite difference elements same direction (azimuth elevation) SMA. At time, sound position vector element whereby both obtained. Finally, signal technology introduced into generalized inverse beamforming algorithm (GIB). After determining transfer function ‘p+v’ mode, low-frequency-noise-source localization identification GIB proposed. The simulation experiment results show that large can be has better resolution.
